Castro Corner
This is an original etching on paper titled, Castro Corner. The scene depicts a group of (mostly) men hanging out in the iconic San Francisco neighborhood. Shadows and lines, density and negative space, one can admire the difficult medium and process of using metal plates, etching needles, acid, ink, and a printing press to create a detailed and textured image. The etching is signed by the artist in the lower righthand corner of the image.
