This is an original etching on paper titled, Lunch on Sunset Blvd. The image depicts outdoor seating at a crowded restaurant in Los Angeles. This was a personal favorite of the artist’s. Showing shadows and lines, density and negative space, one can admire the difficult medium and process of using metal plates, etching needles, acid, ink, and a printing press to create a detailed and textured image. The etching is signed by the artist in the lower righthand corner of the image.
