The urban environment is evident as, behind the leafless trees, rows and rows of apartment windows fill in the background. Shadows and lines, density and negative space, one can admire the difficult medium and process of using metal plates, etching needles, acid, ink, and a printing press to create a detailed and textured image. The etching is signed by the artist in the lower righthand corner of the image.
