This is an original etching on paper titled, The Wilshire. The scene depicts the legendary Beverly Wilshire hotel in Beverly Hills where a doorman assists a customer. Showing shadows and lines, density and negative space, one can admire the difficult medium and process of using metal plates, etching needles, acid, ink, and a printing press to create a detailed and textured image. The etching is signed by the artist in the lower righthand corner of the image.
