This is an original etching on paper titled, Yes, Indian Women, Too. The scene depicts two Native American women on horseback with an indigenous blanket providing a bit of color. This image would have likely been inspired by the time the artist spent living and working in New Mexico. Showing shadows and lines, density and negative space, one can admire the difficult medium and process of using metal plates, etching needles, acid, ink, and a printing press to create a detailed and textured image. The etching is signed by the artist in the lower righthand corner of the image.
